Dexter: Resurrection is officially bringing back three franchise veterans to help tell this next story. David Zayas, Giacomo RemarAND Jack Alcott have all been cast in regular roles in the upcoming drama series Paramount+ with Showtime. They will appear next Michael C. Salawho will reprise his starring role as Dexter Morgan.
Zayas will once again play Detective Angel Batista, while Remar will play Dexter’s father Harry Morgan, the roles they had in the original. Right. Alcott will play Harrison Morgan, Dexter’s son, who first appeared in the sequel series Dexter: New Blood in 2021.
Active production Dexter: Resurrection will begin in January with a debut expected in the summer. There are no specific plot details available for the sequel series.
Dexter: Resurrection is set in the present day and is the 2021 sequel Dexter: New Blood. The plan is to launch the series in the summer of 2025.
