Spider-Man star Tom Holland has revealed his plans to retire from acting, saying he will start a family with his girlfriend Zendaya it will essentially mark the end of his career.
During an interview with Men’s Health Holland shared, “When I have kids, you won’t see me in movies anymore. Golf and dads. And I’ll disappear off the face of the earth.”
At 28, Holland is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars and has enjoyed huge success as Spider-Man, his recent ventures outside of the superhero genre, such as Unexplored AND The crowded roomreceived mixed reviews.
However, the next list of the actor, included Spider-Man 4, Avengers: Judgment DayAND The Odysseyshould re-establish his place at the top of Hollywood’s A-list.
Plus, it will be back in action in Spider-Man 4 AND Avengers: Judgment Day before passing the role of Spider-Man to live-action Miles Morales.
Holland also explained why he and Zendaya avoid red carpet appearances together: “It’s not my time, it’s her time, and if we go together, it’s about us.”
It makes perfect sense that someone would want to prioritize family and personal life over the ridiculous madness of Hollywood.
