“I am very grateful…[I’m] not bad, considering these 20 years have now come to an end. Now I can agree to continue treatment, therapy and my medications. Everyone has been very supportive.”
Even though he no longer attends fan conventions, Jake still finds joy Star Wars content, in particular Ahsoka onDisney+. He also revisited the galaxy through games, enjoying classics like Star Wars: The Old Republic AND Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
“I want to play The Force Unleashed II,” he shared. “I just beat the first one.” Although he hasn’t watched the movies or shows recently, Jake hinted at a return to the saga, saying, “I’m holding out for May the Fourth with my mom.”
Jake’s mother, Lisa, offered more insight into his recovery. “Jake is really getting much better than before. It’s a big relief for me and the rest of his family.
“We’re all really excited that he’s doing so well and that he’s working really hard to do it. We appreciate it.
