Brutal new trailer for Peter Berg’s American Frontier series AMERICAN PRIMEVAL

Netflix has released a brutal and intense new trailer Peter Bergthe Netflix series Primordial Americanset in the American frontier of 1857. This trailer doesn’t hold back on the bloody violence incorporated into the series.

As someone who enjoys the history of the American West, this is a show I’m very excited to watch. He is the protagonist Taylor Kitsch AND Betty Gilpinand is described as a “raw, adventurous exploration of the birth of the American West.”

One of the main protagonists of the series are the Mormons who enter and settle the Utah Territory. It will be interesting to see how Berg and the writer behave Mark L. Smith tells this story.

Primordial American is a “dramatization and fictionalized examination of the violent collision between culture, religion, and community as men and women fight and die to hold or reclaim the lands that make up the brutal American frontier.”

Among these are several native tribes that have long occupied the lands, including Shoshone, Paiute and Ute.

The synopsis reads: “This is America… 1857. Up is down, pain is everywhere, innocence and tranquility are losing the battle against hate and fear. Peace is a minority diminishing, and very few possess grace – even fewer know compassion. There is no safe haven in these brutal lands, and only one goal matters: survival.”

The series is also the protagonist Danish DeHaan, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Derek Hinkey, Joe Tippett, Jay Courtney, Preston Mota, Shawnee Pourier AND Shea Whigham. Smith and Newman are the showrunners.

All six episodes will be released on January 9, 2025 on Netflix.
