The world of anime is no stranger to Isekai stories, which tell fantastical tales of ordinary people thrust into extraordinary worlds, and now Power Rangers is getting the Isekai treatment The Red Ranger becomes an adventurer in another world.
The upcoming anime is an adaptation of Koyoshi Nakayoshi’s manga, which combines the fantastical Isekai genre with the iconic style of Super Sentai/Power Rangers.
This anime from Satelight studios promises to offer a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of the Power Rangers while carving its own path in the Isekai landscape.
Unlike typical isekai protagonists, Togo Asahaki, known as Kizuna Red, is not a powerless everyman. He comes from a team of superheroes from his home planet, a premise that upends the conventions of the genre.
While the story focuses on Kizuna Red’s journey through a fantasy world with new allies, her original Kizuna team remains central to her past, and their presence should have resonance throughout the series.
Satelight went a step further to connect the series to its roots by casting Super Sentai veterans as the voices of Kizuna Red’s teammates.

In the meantime, Tomoya Ito takes command as Kizuna Red, introducing a new voice to the team.
The first official trailer and poster have also been revealed, and as you’ll see, it’s a visual love letter to the Super Sentai franchise. The trailer offers a fun and exciting preview of Kizuna Red’s adventures in the fantasy world.
This anime promises a thrilling adventure filled with fantastic battles, heartwarming moments, and a nod to the timeless spirit of Power Rangers.
