Tim Allen Teases TOY STORY 5 After First Recording Session: “It’s a Really Good Story, Guys”

Story of toys 5 is in profound development. Tim Allen he recently completed his first recording session as Buzz Lightyear and is teasing Pixar’s next animated film.

He said in a recent interview with Collider: “Well, I don’t know what I should say. Yes, I just did the first five hour session for Buzz, probably a week ago. It’s really, really strange to go back to it. I can’t tell you anything.”

Allen went on to praise the sequel, saying “it’s a very, very smart story,” adding, “I really don’t think it’s about the money. I’m sure they want it to be a success, but that’s not why they did it.

“If they didn’t have a brilliant script, they wouldn’t have made it and they wouldn’t have called me and Tom [Hanks]. He’s really smart.

The new story sees Buzz, Woody and Jessie face a new challenge… technology. It’s a story where toy meets technology. The film is also said to focus more on Buzz.

Allen continued, “It was really hard to get it, and then, maybe two hours later, I was doing Buzz. I’m so happy to be Buzz Lightyear, to be honest. It’ll be fun. I think we’re a year away.

“I’ve reached the third act. We’ll do the third act. And then we’ll go back and clean it. And then I’ll do it about five more times. That’s a really good story, guys. It’s really good.

I wish I could rave about this movie, but those first three movies set the bar so high and the story for Toy story 3 it finished perfectly. But Disney wants to milk this cow until there’s nothing left. Let’s hope it’s as good as Allen says it is.

Story of toys 5 is expected to hit theaters in 2026.
