With Avengers: Judgment Day AND Avengers: Secret Wars Rumored to include many of the MCU’s original Avengers heroes, common sense says the team wouldn’t be complete without Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.
Bringing all six members of the team together for an epic assembly would be an amazing moment for fans to experience. Chris Evens’Steve Rogers, Robert Downey Jr.it’s Tony Stark, Chris Hemsworthit’s Thor, Marco Ruffaloit’s the Hulk, Jeremy RennerHawkeye and Johansson’s Black Widow together again would be great.
Obviously, some of them are supposed to be variants, but the entire MCU is built to allow that to happen now. Yes, Nathasha Romanoff was killed in Avengers: Endgame when she sacrificed herself so Clint Barton could acquire the Soul Stone, but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t see a variant version of the character.
It was recently reported that the film will feature an “overwhelming number of variations.” It’s not hard to imagine that Black Widow could be one of them.
This latest report comes from Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman, who claims that Johansson is set to reprise her role for the next film. Avengers movie.
Evans is already confirmed to return, as is Robert Downey Jr. who will play Doctor Doom. But I also think there’s a good chance we’ll see him back as Iron Man too. He’ll do double duty. In fact, it is said that many actors will too.
It has been reported that several actors will be doing “double duty”. Avengers: Judgment Day AND Avengers: Secret Wars.
The report said: “What I can tell you is that the secondary antagonists, whoever they are, according to my sources, will be Variants.
“There will be a huge number of variations in these films, much more of the characters that will appear in these films than in Earth-616. Some will be good, some will be bad, and some will be truly worse.”
It will be really interesting to see how the next two Avengers movies play out and see who appears in them.
Richtman also hears that Marvel Studios is developing three new animated shows set in the MCU, but we have nothing else to work on for now.
Avengers: Judgment Day will be released in May 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars expected arrival in May 2027.
