Courteney Cox has officially ended his contract to return for Screams 7and will reprise her role as Gale Weathers.
He will reunite with the star of the franchise Neve Campbellwho will reprise his role as Sidney Prescott, as well as new cast members Isabel May, McKenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor AND Asa Germann. Patrick Dempsey he might even come back.
It is said that the next chapter of Cry will involve a “big time jump” after the events of the last film. This is how Sidney’s children grew up to the appropriate age for slasher films.
It had already been said previously Screams 7 “will have two main plots, one about Sid and his neighborhood friends, and the second about Taylor, Sid’s teenage daughter (could be a code name) and her friends. Each of them will have to deal with Ghostface.”
Sid and Gale will reportedly face some sort of Ghostface cult. Courteney Cox will return as Gale Weathers, and Patrick Dempsey as Detective Mark Kincaid.
Cry creator and writer Kevin Williamson is set to lead Scream VII AND Guy Busickwriter of 2022 Cry AND Scream VIhe’s writing the screenplay.
Screams 7 will be released in theaters worldwide on February 27, 2026.
