Linda Cardellini he is set to act opposite Jason Bateman AND Davide Porto in HBO’s upcoming dark comedy limited series DTF St. Louis.
The series is a dark comedy, the title of which refers to the social media acronym for “down to f*ck”. The show is about “a love triangle between three adults suffering from a middle-aged malaise that leads to one of them dying.”
Cardellini will play Carol. The seven-episode limited series signed by the writer, director, showrunner and executive producer Steve Corrado (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Patriot).
Francesca OrsiEVP, HBO Programming, Head of HBO Drama Series and Films said in a statement: “We are extremely excited to be working with the brilliant author Steve Conrad, whose singularity of vision is central to all of his work as a storyteller.
“With David Harbor and Jason Bateman at the center of the series, two masterful titans in their own right, we couldn’t be more encouraged by the journey ahead and look forward to sharing this special, emotionally provocative piece with the world, in due course ”.
The series evolved from Conrad’s limited series project My dentist’s murder trialthat HBO developed more than two years ago with Harbor and Pedro Pasquale attached to Star and EP.
It was “a true crime drama about Kingston, NY, dentist Dr. Gilberto Nunez (Pascal), who was put on trial for allegedly killing his friend Tom Kolman (Harbor).”
