Apple TV+ has released a full trailer for the workplace thriller Separation Season 2, and offers a better look at what’s in store for the next season as the two worlds of Adam Scott’s Mark Scout begins to collide. The trailer also sees Scout searching for his dead wife, who isn’t actually dead.
At the end of the first season, employees Mark, Helly, Dylan and Irving have managed to escape their consciousness from the confines of their office and have begun to reconstruct who they are in the real world.
Mark Scout leads a team at Lumon Industries, “whose employees have been subjected to a severance process, which surgically divides their memories between work and personal lives.
“This bold experiment in ‘work-life balance’ is called into question when Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveled mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work… and himself.”
In the second season, “Mark and his friends, Helly (Britt Lower), Dylan (Zach Cherry) and Irving (Giovanni Turturro), they learn the dire consequences of messing with the separation barrier, leading them further down a path of grief.
Created by Dan Erickson and executive produced by Ben Stillerthe series is also the protagonist Christopher Walken, Jen Tullock, Michael Chernus AND Dichen Lachmann.
New cast members have been added for season 2, including Gwendoline Christie, Alia Shawkat, Bob Balaban, Merrit Wever, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Giovanni Nobile AND Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
Patricia Arquette He plays the manager of the fired employees, as well as Mark’s neighbor. As the show progresses, Mark makes curious discoveries that call into question the company’s intentions.
Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes and will premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, January 17.
