THE BOYS Season 5 BTS Photos Reveal First Gory Look at Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher & More

A couple of behind-the-scenes photos from the fan-favorite satirical superhero series have been shared The boys Season 5.

The boys star Carlo Urbano posted a photo as the series begins production on the new season and shows his character Billy Butcher, with a bit of blood splashing down his face. It came with the caption: “Let’s go!”

Series creator Eric Kripke also shared a photo from the set Anthony StarrHomelander, Chace Crawfordis The Deep, and Nathan MitchellThe reunion of Black Noir II.

That image was accompanied by the caption: “They saved me. They saved me in every way a man can be saved. Feast your eyes on the first #BTS photo of #Season5! (Photo credit to @itsNateMitchell)”

The fifth season will be the last season of the series and speaking about it, the creator and the showrunner, Eric Kripke teased:

“You know, I think the season four finale really shows you that we’ve been planning this for five years, because there’s no way a show can continue another season after the events of that finale. As far as we’re concerned, it’s the version of apocalypse of our show.”

The series is described as follows: “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscular thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.

“Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as leader of the Boys. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”
