Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Shrinking), Samara weaving (Ready or Not, Nine perfect strangers), Timothy Olyphant (Justified, Daisy Jones and the six) AND Juliet Lewis (Natural born killers, Yellow jackets) have signed up to star in the upcoming thriller The journeydirected by SNL alumnus and member of The Lonely Island Jorma Taccone (Pop star: never stop stopping, MacGruber).
Paul Guilfoyle (LA confidential) and former UFC star Keith Jardine (Intrinsic vice) will also appear in the film. The screenplay was adapted from Nick Kocher AND Brian McElhaney from Tommy Wirkola’s Norwegian thriller, I Onde Dagerwho acted Noomi Rapace AND Aksel Hennieand was written by Wirkola, John NivenAND Nick Ball.
The journey is now filming in Finland, and follows a dysfunctional couple (Segel and Weaving) head to a remote cabin to supposedly reconnect, but each has secret plans to kill the other.
It has a great cast and an intriguing story. I look forward to hearing more as the project develops.
