Kevin Feige explains how LOGAN inspired an aspect of AVENGERS: ENDGAME

Logan it’s still considered one of the best comic book movies ever made and was an emotional and powerful sendoff Hugh Jackmannit’s Wolverine… before he showed up again Deadpool and Wolverine.

President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige appeared in Assembled: The Making of Deadpool and Wolverine documentary that came out on Disney+ earlier this week and, in the making, explained how Logan influenced an aspect of Avengers: Endgame.

Reveal who inspired the way Robert Downey Jr.It’s the moment Iron Man would come to an end. He said:

“I’ve always been very vocal with Hugh that he had one of the best endings ever for any fictional character, and I told him it’s truly amazing what he was able to accomplish with Logan.”

He added, “That’s what we were struggling with with Robert Downey Jr. in Endgame, is giving this incredible, iconic fictional character a surprising ending.”

I think they managed to make a great and perfect ending for Tony Stark… until they reintroduced him as Doctor Doom. Seriously, though, Stark’s sacrifice was a memorable and powerful moment that hit fans hard emotionally.

Earlier this year, Feige spoke about the importance of preserving Logan’s legacy Deadpool and Wolverinesaying:

“Well, it was something we had talked about many, many years ago. One of the first conversations I had with Hugh Jackman after Disney acquired Fox was that Logan is one of the greatest stories ever – we can’t undo this. We can’t touch it, and we haven’t for many years.”

“When the idea was born and when the plot [for Deadpool & Wolverine] happened, and when Hugh approached Ryan Reynolds at what is now a momentous moment, I think, certainly in the history of Marvel and maybe in the history of cinema, it was still about asking, “Okay, how do we do this in a way that doesn’t negate, as you say, the extraordinary drama and emotion of Logan?'”

Feige continued: “The timing was right because the multiverse is something we had already established and set up, and the Time Variance Authority was there to help us navigate those waters in a way that allowed Deadpool to search for a version of Wolverine.” he wasn’t dead in the ground, I think so [right from the beginning of the movie]let’s run straight to it.”

He’s obviously referring to Deadpool digging up Logan’s corpse and using his skeleton and claws to brutally ravage the TVA agents.

You think it’s the end Logan it’s comparable to the end of Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame?
