A new trailer for the sequel has been released Bridget Jones: crazy about the guywith the star returning Renee Zellwegeralong with several new and returning cast members, including Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Fisher Island, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, Giacomo Callis, Shirley Henderson, Sally PhillipsAND Leo Woodall.
The film’s synopsis reads: “Bridget is alone again, widowed four years ago when Mark (Oscar winner Colin Firth) was killed during a humanitarian mission in Sudan.
“She is now a single mother to Billy, 9, and Mabel, 4, and is stuck in a state of emotional limbo, raising her children with the help of her loyal friends and even her ex-lover, Daniel Cleaver (Grant ). Under pressure from her urban family – Shazzer, Jude and Tom, her co-worker Miranda, her mother, her gynecologist Dr. Rawlings (Thompson) – to create a new path to life and love, Bridget returns to work and even tries dating. app, where she is soon pursued by a dreamy, enthusiastic young man (Leo Woodall).

The film is directed by Michael Morris (To Leslie, Preacher, Better call Saulo) from a screenplay written by Helen Fieldingbased on his novel, with input from the Emmy winner Abi Morgan (The Iron Lady, Eric) and nominated for an Oscar Dan Mazer (I’ll give it a year, Bridget Jones’s baby).
