Just a couple of weeks ago was the last time Samuel L. Jackson talked about his impression that his Star Wars character Mace Windu was still alive somewhere in the galaxy far, far away.
Despite Jackson’s busy film schedule, including his recurrence in the MCU, he is petitioning to return to his role as Jedi Master and bring Windu back from the presumed death.
Jackson isn’t the only one now saying Mace Windu should return. Industry fucker MTTSH he actually now claims that Jackson is officially in talks to return to the Star Wars universe for a mysterious project.
He didn’t provide any other details, such as whether it could be a live-action or animated, film, or TV project, but at this point it really wouldn’t be too surprising if Jackson reprises his role as Mace Windu.
We’ve already seen numerous classic characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Boba Fett, and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader revisited for new Disney+ shows, and it seems like the old cast members are generally pretty well received.
