After seeing his first narrative feature film The inspection get rave reviews in 2022, director Bratton elegance is returning behind the camera for the film By any meansa crime thriller based on true life starring Oscar nominees Mark Wahlberg (The fighter) AND Sterling K. Brown (American fiction).
Based on the Black List script CI34 from Sascha Penn (Raising Kanan, Creed II) with reviews by Bratton and Ted Witcher, By any means will be presented to buyers at the next AFM.
The film is based on the incredible true story of the infamous mob hitman who was hired by Hoover’s FBI in black and teamed up with a young black special agent to hunt down those responsible for the 1966 murders of civil rights leaders in Mississippi.
The production of the film will begin in March 2025. It seems like an extremely fascinating story, similar to the vibes of the 2018 film, BlackKkKlansmanwhich told another important story from the pages of black history, which had only recently come to light.
