A24 has released the first trailer for Daniel Craigthe next movie Queerwhich comes from the director Luca Guadagnino (Challengers, Call me by your name, Suspiria, Bones and all,).
The film is adapted from William S. Burroughs novel and the story is set in the 1950s. William Lee (Craig), “an American expatriate in Mexico City, spends his days almost entirely alone, except for some contact with other members of the small American community.
“His meeting with Eugene Allerton ( Drew Starkey), an ex-pat soldier who has just arrived in town, shows him – for the first time – that it might finally be possible to make an intimate connection with someone.”
It’s also in the cast Lesley Manville, Jason Schwartzmann, Henrique Zaga, Omar Apolloum Colin Bates.
A24 will release Queer in select US theaters starting November 27, 2024. The film has received high praise, particularly regarding Craig’s performance.
