Here’s a trailer for an interesting looking indie sci-fi thriller titled Quantum suicide. The film centers on a lone physicist who embarks on a search for the Grand Unified Theory of physics and discovers the keys to understanding our reality.
The Grand Unified Theory of physics is the “Theory of Everything” and in the story, the physicist “builds a particle accelerator in his garage and begins his research into the nature of reality.
“In the course of his experiments, he suffers radiation poisoning, loses his sight, and alienates his partner, who ultimately leaves him.
“But in his obsession he finds clarity and the key to understanding our reality. There is one final test he must perform.”
The film is described by Overly Honest Movie Reviews as “A thoughtful, multifaceted journey into human ambition, connection, and intellectual inquiry.” Bloody Flicks calls it “An intelligent piece of science fiction that rewards audiences.”
The film was written and directed by Gerrit Van Woudenberg and the cast includes Andrew Rogerson, Kate Totten, Kennedy Montano, David Skulski, Stephanie Jaskot and Andrea Vawda.
It actually looks like it could be a good movie and will be released on October 18th.
