Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for its upcoming horror film Smile 2what stars Naomi Scott as Skye Riley, a famous pop star, terrorized by the smile demon.
The trailer also contains quotes from critics who have seen the film and say it’s terrifying. Quotes include “A terrifying masterpiece,” “Scarier and wilder than the first,” “Not for the faint of heart,” “Nightmare Fuel,” “The scariest movie of the year by a mile,” and “F*ck really terrifying.”
I thought the first movie was ok and didn’t expect much more from the sequel, but maybe it will actually bring some big scares!
In the sequel: “On the verge of embarking on a new world tour, global pop sensation Skye Riley (Scott) begins to experience increasingly terrifying and inexplicable events.
“Overwhelmed by escalating horrors and the pressures of fame, Skye is forced to confront her dark past to regain control of her life before it spirals out of control.”
This franchise centers on an evil, relentless demon who drives his victims to suicide by appearing as a series of humans with sinister smiles on their faces.
The cast announced for Smile 2 also includes Kyle Gallner (Smile), Rosemarie DeWitt (The ladder), Luca Gage (The White Lotus), AND Dylan Gelula (Dream scenario), alongside Raúl Castillo (The army of the dead) AND Miles Gutierrez-Riley (The wild lands).
Smile 2 will be directed by the returning director Parker Finn. Smile 2 will be released in theaters on October 18th.
