After Deadpool and Wolverine grossed over a billion dollars at the box office, it’s safe to assume that the studio will eventually get around to making another Deadpool sequel. It’s an almost obvious decision.
But, in case you’re looking for some news on the matter, the MTTSH scooper claims to have heard “they’re already discussing a Deadpool and Wolverine followed.”
There’s nothing really surprising about this, as I’m sure Marvel and the film’s creative team have discussed this possibility in the past. Deadpool and Wolverine was released in theaters.
As for what another Deadpool movie might entail, director Shawn Levy shared his desire to bring Spider-Man into the fun.
Levy said: “The thing about Deadpool is that I think it makes everything more interesting because of its audacity. But, man, I would definitely like to see Deadpool and Spidey. It’s a movie I would love to make. I feel like Tom Holland it would go around everyone else.”
Whether or not that will happen is yet to be seen, but it would definitely be cool and would definitely bring in another billion dollars to the franchise.
There are so many directions for Deadpool to go in and so many different characters that could appear on screen with him. One thing we know is that with Deadpool… anything is possible.
