FX has released the trailer for the upcoming sixth and final season of their hit comedy series What we do in the shadows.
The campy vampire mockumentary series is based on the film by Jemaine Clement AND Taika Waititiand documents the nocturnal exploits of the Nandor vampire roommates (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) and Colin Robinson (Marco Proksch) as they explore the modern world of Staten Island with the help of their human familiar, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén).
The official plot synopsis for season six reads: “After a brief stint as a full-blown vampire, Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) is reevaluating his life.
“Who is he if not a familiar who will do anything to please his Master in hopes of one day being transformed into a vampire? Meanwhile, vampires are also reevaluating themselves.
“When their former roommate reappears after a 50-year nap, they realize how little they have accomplished in half a century: not a goal achieved, not a dream pursued, not a part of the New World conquered (except their way and part of Ashley Street).”

The first three episodes of the eleven-episode season are released simultaneously and arrive on Hulu the next day.
