Colin Farrell’s SUGAR has been renewed for a second season by Apple TV+

Colin Ferrellthe detective series by Sugar has been renewed for a second season on Apple TV+ and the actor will return to reprise his role.

The series follows John Sugar (Farrell), a private detective in Los Angeles. In season two, Sugar will find herself “in Los Angeles dealing with another missing person case, while continuing to search for answers about her missing sister.”

Executive producers Audrey Chon AND Simone Kinberg shared in a statement: “It has been incredibly emotional to see audiences around the world embrace each other Sugarand we are thrilled to return for a second season.

“We are very grateful to our partners at Apple for their support, to our showrunner Sam Catlin, to the brilliant Colin Farrell and, of course, to our viewers. We look forward to getting John Sugar back on the case.”

Sam Catlin will serve as showrunner and executive producer of the second season and the rest of the cast Amy Ryan, James Cromwell, Anna Gunn, Dennis Boutsikaris, Nate Corddry, Sydney ChandlerAND Alex Hernandez.

The series was created by Marco Protosevich.
