Apple TV+ has released a trailer for Billy Crystalthe next series of supernatural psychological thrillers Before. This is a very different type of project for Crystal, but it looks like a great series where she will deliver a strong performance.
The series is described as an “atmospheric, character-driven psychological thriller starring award-winning actor, comedian and director Billy Crystal.”
Crystal plays Eli in the series, “a child psychiatrist who, after recently losing his wife Lynn, meets a troubled boy, Noah, who seems to have a disturbing connection to Eli’s past. As Eli tries to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens.”
The series is also the protagonist Giuditta Luce (Transparent), Jacobi Jupe (Peter Pan and Wendy), Rosie Perez (The flight attendant), Maria Dizzia (Orange is the new black), AND Ava Lalezarzadeh (In the tulip garden).
The ten-episode series is produced by Crystal, Eric Rothand creator Sarah Thorp and will premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 25 with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through December 20.
