Jeff Bridges thought his aged Kevin Flynn in TRON: LEGACY looked more like Bill Maher

Jeff Bridges will once again reprise his role in Disney’s next film TRON: Ares movie, and while we don’t know exactly how he fits into the story, the actor recently said that he’s the star of the film Jared Leto he is “wonderful to work with.”

While a guest on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, it was said that “there’s no one more scanned in the metaverse than Jeff Bridges,” and Bridges was asked if that “scares him a little” in this age of artificial intelligence.

This is what Bridges is talking about TRON: Legacyand although his experience with the film was mostly good and positive, there was one aspect of the film that he “didn’t particularly like” and how it turned out.

Bridges said: “I was scanned and put into the computer for when we made Tron 2, Legacy, and I wasn’t particularly fond of that recreation of myself. I thought I looked more like Bill Maher than myself.

Yes, the de-aging CGI that was done for the film isn’t as good as what could be done now, but, at the time, in 2009, I remember audiences being amazed by it. It was the first time we’d seen something like that in a movie, so it was a big deal.

The technology for de-aging actors had to start somewhere, and it really started with Jeff Bridges. Even though he didn’t like the result and thought he looked like Bill Maher, it was still pretty cool.
