TRANSFORMERS ONE Director Josh Cooley Urges Fans to See the Movie on the Big Screen

After a disappointing opening weekend launch, Transformers One director Josh Cooley now invites fans to see the film in theaters, on the big screen.

Cooley said in a post shared on X: “Thank you to everyone who experienced Transformers One this weekend. I am beyond proud of the film and the incredible cast and crew who brought it to life.

“It was made for the big screen, so enjoy it while you can and share with me what you think.”

I wasn’t at all excited to see Transformers One and went into the theater thinking it was going to be a huge disappointment. But I ended up leaving the theater having enjoyed the movie! It told a surprisingly strong story and I was ultimately happy with how it ended.

Unfortunately, the marketing team didn’t do a great job of selling the movie because they didn’t seem to know their audience. I talked about this in a previous article I wrote.

I understand why people don’t want to watch the movie because the trailers don’t make it look like a good Transformers movie! That’s why I didn’t care about the movie at all. But the movie is actually really good! There are a lot of great reviews and those reviews don’t lie.

This film tells the “origin story of how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers in arms to sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.”

The stars of the film Chris Hemsworth like Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, My Friend Brian Tyree Henry like D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson like Elita-1, and Keegan Michael’s Key like B-127 / Bumblebee.
