THE Hearts of the Kingdom The video game series has had a long and successful career and fans love what the series has offered them. Hearts of the Kingdom 4 is currently in development and, according to the director, Tetsuya Nomurathis next chapter will be the beginning of the end.
Speaking to Japanese magazine Young Jump, Nomura talked about Hearts of the Kingdom 4 and what it will entail. He explains that the game is seen as “a reset point for the franchise and should be easy for new fans to get into.”
Nomura also anticipated that Hearts of the Kingdom 4 will begin a story arc that he intends to complete before he retires. He said:
“Speaking of things without dreams, I only have a few years left before I retire, so it’s like I have to decide whether to retire early or finish the series early. I’m doing Hearts of the Kingdom 4 now with the intention that it will be a story that will be completed.”
Nomura hasn’t said how many more games in the franchise he plans to make, but if he retires in a few years and there’s a story he wants to complete, then there won’t be many more.
Hearts of the Kingdom 4 It was announced by Square Enix in 2022, but there is not much information about it.
