Colin Ferrell Reveals He Wore a ‘Penguin Dick’ While Playing Penguin – ‘I Was Totally Anatomically Correct’

So, uh… Colin Farrell revealed something crazy about his portrayal of the Penguin in the upcoming DC series. He and the creative team went to great lengths to make sure Oz Cobb was as anatomically accurate as possible, so Ferrell wore a “penguin dick.”

Now, you don’t see Ferrell’s “penguin” in the series, but there is a nude scene of Oz in the first episode. Farrell told CinemaBlend in an interview that his character was “anatomically correct.” When joking with makeup artist Michael Marino, he confirmed:

“There was no weakness in my penguin dick that you designed. That we never filmed. But it was there, man! It was there. I was completely anatomically correct.”

I’m glad we never have to see the “penguin dick”. But it’s so funny to find out that they actually went with that when they designed the costume.

The eight-episode Penguin series has been described as a “Scarred-like” which will see the villain’s rise in the criminal underworld of Gotham City. It has also been confirmed that the series will lead directly into the events of Batman: Part Two.

The stars of the series Christin Miliotiwho plays the female lead Sofia Falcone, and Happy Rhenzywho plays a teenager who Penguin befriends and becomes his driver. The rest of the cast includes Michael Kelly (House of Cards, Jack Ryan), Shohreh Aghdashloo’s Diary (The Expanse, House of Sand and Fog) AND Deirdre O’Connell (External range) have joined the DC series.

Lauren LeFranc will serve as writer and showrunner on the series, which is scheduled to premiere on September 19.
