First clip for upcoming survival horror thriller released AzraelThe clip is called “Surprise Attack” and features Samara Weaving brandishing a machete as she is attacked.
It looks like it will be an extremely intense film and the scene sees Weaving desperately fighting for her life as another young woman hacks her with a cleaver.
The description for Azrael It reads: “In a world where no one speaks, a mysterious and devout community hunts a young woman named Azrael (Weaving) who has escaped from their captivity.
“Taken from its ruthless leaders, she will be sacrificed to pacify an evil that lies deep within the surrounding wilderness, but Azrael will stop at nothing to ensure his freedom and survival.
“From the seeds of this raw and relentless parable of sacrifice and salvation comes an engaging, real-time horror tale from the visionary minds of Simon Barrett and EL Katz.”
The film will be released in select theaters on September 27.
