M. Night Shyamalan Begins Work on His 17th Film Project

M. Night Shyamalan reveals that he has started work on his 17th film project. He makes the announcement soon after the release of his recent thriller Trapthat it wasn’t a good movie.

The director shared a photo of a red notebook, with the following note: “As a ritual for each film, I choose a notebook that speaks to me and I write notes, ideas for the new film.

“When I’m full of ideas, I move on to outline and then write the script. This is the notebook for film 17! This bright red one seemed perfect to me!

“As #Trapmovie surpasses 80 million theaters, I am so grateful and start the new one inspired by all the support you have given me over the years.”

Shyamalan has been on a string of failures with Old man, knock on the boothAND TrapLet’s hope his next film is a good film.

Shyamalan is currently an executive producer on the upcoming thriller Caddo Lakewhich is scheduled to premiere on Max on October 10, 2024.

In that film, “When an 8-year-old girl mysteriously disappears into Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to connect, forever changing the story of a shattered family.”

As for Shyamalan’s plans for his 17th directorial effort, we’ll just have to wait and see.
