Rosary Dawson (Assoka) has joined the cast of the upcoming horror anthology film Deeper, darkerwhich is developed by Mark Bernardino (Star Trek: Picard) AND Tiffany Smithwho is also part of the cast.
Dawson said in a statement: “I’m a huge fan of… well, I guess I shouldn’t tell you what project I’m working on, but all the writers and directors [on DEEPEST, DARKEST] They’re amazing, so having the chance to work with them was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss.”
The film is executive produced by Akela Cooper (M3GAN) AND David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil).
The film brings together “a host of TV scripted stars behind the camera to tell stories of horror, suspense, black comedy and edgy science fiction, each centered on that most human of impulses: keeping secrets.”
Segment directors include LaToya Morgan (The Walking Dead), Deric A. Hughes And Benjamin Raab (Quantum leap), Ubah Mohammed (The Handmaid’s Tale), Lamont Magee (Black Lightning), Sujata Day (Insecure), and Kevin Avery (The Great North).
The cast also includes Ernie Hudson, Raymond Lee, Phil LaMarr, The Yetide Badaki AND Caitlin Bassettas well as screenwriters and directors Avery and Day.
