Prime Video has released a full trailer for the upcoming international action series Citadel: Dianawhich is the next spin-off in the Russo brothers’ “global Citadel universe.”
The next film in the series is set in 2030 in Milan, Italy. “Eight years ago, the independent global spy agency Citadel was destroyed by the powerful enemy syndicate known as Manticore.
“Since then Diana Cavalieri (Matilda De Angelis), an undercover Citadel agent, is alone, trapped behind enemy lines as a mole in Manticore.
“When he finally sees a way out and the possibility of disappearing forever, the only way to do so is to rely on the most unexpected ally, Edo Zani (Lorenzo Cervasio), heir of Manticore Italia and son of the head of the Italian trade union, Ettore Zani (Maurizio Lombardi), which is fighting for leadership against all the other European families.”
I didn’t like the first one Citadel series that was released, but this spin-off actually seems like it could be a better show. The question is, are people actually interested in watching these Citadel show the universe?
Citadel: Diana It is the second series to debut from the world of Citadeland will be followed by the Indian series, Citadel: Honey Bunny.
Citadel: Diana is showrun and executive producer of Gina Gardini. Directed by Arnaldo Catinari and developed by Alexander Fabbri – who is also the head writer and wrote the series with Ilaria Bernardini, Laura Colella, Gianluca BernardiniAND Jordana Mari.
