Investigation Discovery has released the trailer for a new true crime docuseries titled The Real Elm Street Murdersa six-part series that focuses on “horrific crimes that happen on Elm Streets across the country.”
Over the course of six episodes, the series “offers a chilling look at small, suburban American towns that have been torn apart by murder.
“At the heart of the series is the fundamental question of how, in a single night, these quaint residential streets of Elm Street can go from peace and tranquility to horror, senseless death and tragedy.
“Each episode will examine a murder investigation that took place on one of America’s many Elm Streets, and each episode will demonstrate that horror happens everywhere.
In the first episode of the season, Killer between the walls“A husband discovers that his wife and two children have been brutally murdered. When the police begin their investigation, they begin to suspect that the killer is someone they have already arrested. A year earlier, a disturbed teenager had terrorized a family for months by hiding in a very unlikely place.”
