Marvel Producer Explains Why We’ll Never See THE AVENGERS Reunited in a TV Series

The MCU is full of fun film and television projects. Some of the best films Marvel Studios has made are the Avengers films, which see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes come together to fight the universe’s greatest threats.

These are flagship films that bring superheroes together for the biggest, wildest adventures, and since they don’t happen very often, some people feel like it would be nice to see them every week in a series.

But this will never happen, and the Marvel producer Brad Winderbaum He has a pretty solid reason.

During a recent interview with CinemaBlend, he explained: “I think the Avengers have come to a day where Earth’s mightiest heroes have to come together.

“In a feature film, which is a statement piece, it makes sense to have one event that galvanizes them all. I think in a long-running TV show, it becomes more of a challenge to have, ‘There was a day’ every day. In comics, you can do that.

“It’s the Marvel Universe, and amazing things happen all the time. Yes. But if you read the comics, you know that the Avengers actually assemble themselves so that they can be taken apart, and then put back together again, and then taken apart again. Is that possible? Yes.

“But from a narrative standpoint, it becomes kind of a rise and fall, which… could be really interesting for a long-running story. But it would be a very unique pattern for a TV show.”

He’s right. It would be less special and maybe more monotonous to see them do their thing over and over again. It’s nice to be able to get to the major events in the Marvel timeline and see the Avengers reunite to face their greatest adversary yet.
