Netflix has released a new trailer for its dark comedy murder mystery series The perfect couplerevolving around one of Nantucket’s richest and most perfect families and their dark secrets.
Nicole Kidman AND Lieutenant Schreiber The film stars writer Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman) and her husband Tag Winbury (Schrieber) and Amelia Sacks (Eva Hewson) is destined to marry a member of their wealthy clan.
It looks like it will be an entertaining show with a story that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats with all the twists and turns that will unfold throughout the story.
The six-part series is an adaptation of by Elin Hilderbrand novel and the synopsis reads: “Amelia Sacks is about to marry a man from one of Nantucket’s wealthiest families.
“Her future mother-in-law, famed author Greer Garrison Winbury, who doesn’t approve of her decision, has spared no expense in organizing what promises to be the biggest wedding of the season, until a body washes up on the beach.
“As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation straight out of the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.”
The limited series comes from Birdhouse director Susanna Beer and the cast also includes Dakota Fanning, Meghan Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, My Isaac, Donna Lynne Champlin AND Isabelle Adjani.
Greer (Kidman) is the mother of Amelia’s boyfriend, Benji Winbury (Billy Scream) and paid for their wedding, which was destined to be the toast of the season. But it seems the family has some buried secrets.
The series will arrive on Netflix on September 5th.
