Matthew Ricci (The Americans, Perry Mason) joined Clear Danesi in Netflix’s mystery thriller limited series, The beast in mecreated, written and produced by Gabe Rotter.
In The beast in me“After the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed writer Aggie Wiggs (Danes) has retreated from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self.
“But he finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Jarvis (Rhys), a famous and formidable real estate tycoon who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance.
“At once horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively searching for the truth, chasing his demons while running from her own, in a game of cat and mouse that could prove deadly.”
The series is executive produced by the showrunner Dr. Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24, X-Files), director Antonio Camposwriter Daniel Pearl (Story of an American Crime) next to Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross, David KissingerAND Jodie Foster.
Rhys is a great actor and will soon appear as the legendary comedian George Carlin in the film directed by My friend Jason Reitman’S Saturday night.
