New TRANSFORMERS ONE Posters Highlight Four Main Characters

Paramount Pictures has released four new posters for Transformers Oneand feature the four main characters of the series including Chris Hemsworth like Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry like D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson like Elita-1, and Keegan Michael’s Key like B-127 / Bumblebee.

This film tells the “origin story of how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers in arms to sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.”

Personally, I’m not sold on the film based on the footage I’ve seen, but initial reactions from people who’ve seen the finished film have been overwhelmingly positive, so I’m hoping the film is actually better than it looks.

Producer Lorenzo DiBonaventure previously said: “This is… the origin story of young Megatron and young Optimus. If you know the origin, they started out as friends, and over time things evolved for them and they ended up on two sides.

“So we’re telling the story of young Optimus and young Megatron. We’re really telling the origin story of all the Transformers, both who they started out as, and how they grow up, and how they go their separate ways.”

This will be the first of what Di Bonaventura calls a “natural trilogy” and will explore “Cybertron in a way that you’ve never seen, that no one’s ever seen before.”

Transformers One will hit theaters on September 20th.
