Matt Smith (Doctor Who, The crown) AND Lieutenant Schreiber (Ray Donovan, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) are the latest actors to sign on for the crime thriller Caught stealing from the director Darren Aronofsky (The fighter, Black Swan, The whale). Details on the roles they will play are still under wraps, but they join the cast members already announced Austin’s Butlerin the lead role, Zoe Kravitz, Queen KingAND It will be brilliant.
Based on the books by Charlie Huston, who adapted the screenplay, Caught stealing follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, who finds himself unwittingly drawn into a savage fight for survival in the criminal underworld of 1990s downtown New York.
The film does not yet have a release date, but it should go into production soon. Stay tuned for updates.
