Here’s a trailer for an upcoming survival adventure film from the producer Sylvester Stallone titled Lost on a Mountain in Maine.
The independent film is based on the best-selling book of the same name, the film tells “the inspiring story of a 12-year-old boy (Luca David Blumm), who, separated from his family on a hiking trip by a rapidly growing storm, must fight for survival during his nine-day adventure lost in the Maine woods.”
This is a true story, and it seems like a solid movie worth watching, but I like these kinds of stories. I once got lost in the woods on a hike when I went off the trail, and it took me a couple of hours to find my way back out. It was a weird experience.
However the film was directed Andrew Boodhoo Knightand also recites Paul Sparks, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Ethan SlaterAND Griffin Wallace Henkel.
The film premiered at the 2024 Maine Film Festival last month. Blue Fox Ent. will release the film in select U.S. theaters on November 1, 2024.
