Some new photos for Marvel Studios Agatha for life The series has been released, and offers a new look at many of the characters from the series, including a first look at Aubrey Square as Rio Vidal and wearing her “warrior witch” costume.
Plaza has previously spoken about her time filming Agatha for life AND Francis Ford Coppola’S Megalopolis at the same time, saying, “I literally went from one to the other and I was wearing my Wow wig and my Wow costume.
“And then the next day, I went to the Agate set and I would be dressed as a warrior witch with a dagger and stuff. At one point, when I was dressed as the Marvel character, I snuck into the Megalopolis set up and started harassing Giancarlo Esposito AND Adam [Driver] and everyone. It was absolutely insane behavior.”
The character that Plaza plays AgateRio Vidal, is a very powerful Green Witch and former Author: Kathryn HahnMiss Harkness.
In this series, she “embarks on a dangerous and mysterious adventure filled with trials and tribulations.” Agatha Harkness finds herself “struggling and powerless after a suspicious goth teenager helps her break free from a twisting spell.
“Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a series of magical tests that, if passed, reward a witch with what she lacks.
“Together, Agatha and this mysterious teenager form a desperate group and set out on a journey down, down, down the Road…”
This looks like it could be a fun Marvel show. I like the mix of horror and humor that is evident in this trailer.
Showman Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision) directs the pilot episode and the cast includes “a diverse and motley crew of witches” and those witches include Patti LuPoneThe Lilia, Sasheer ZamataI’m Jennifer, Debra Jo RuppSharon, and Ali AhnaAlice is.
The rest of the cast includes Joe Locke, Mary Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili AND Aubrey Square.
Marvel Television Agatha for life will debut September 18 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET, with the first two episodes, exclusively on Disney+.
