Screambox has released the trailer for a hilarious Canadian zombie horror comedy titled We are ZombiesThe film is set in a post-zombie apocalypse where the undead are just a part of everyday life.
The film’s synopsis reads: “When the dead return, what do we do with them? In this horror comedy, instead of a bloodthirsty horde, the undead are a peaceful and oppressed collective, whose social integration is fought by a group of activists and whose subordination is exploited by a few heartless people.
“The protagonists of the film will find themselves involved in this conflict of wills, forced to fight against a megacorporation to save their grandmother.”
It looks like a unique take on the zombie genre, and it’s based on the comic book series The Zombies That Ate the World.
The film comes from the filmmaking collective RKSS, consisting of Francois Simard, Anouk Whissell AND by Yoann Karl Whissellfilm director Turbo baby AND Summer of ’84.
The movie stars Alexander Nachi, Dr. Derek JohnAND Megan Peta Hilland it looks like the movie is going to be really fun to watch!
The film will be released on ScreamBox on August 13, 2024.
