Apple TV+ has shared a first look at its new supernatural psychological thriller series titled Beforewhich has as protagonists Billy CrystalThe actor is best known for his comedic work, so it’s interesting to see him take on a role in a series like this, which is very different for him.
The series is described as a “character-driven, atmospheric psychological thriller starring award-winning actor, comedian and director Billy Crystal.”
Crystal plays Eli in the series, “a child psychiatrist who, after the recent loss of his wife Lynn, meets a troubled young boy, Noah, who seems to have an unsettling connection to Eli’s past. As Eli tries to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens.”
The series also features the participation of Judith Light (Transparent), Jacobi dress (Peter Pan and Wendy), Rosie Perez (The flight attendant), Maria Dizzia (Orange is the new black), AND Ava Lalezarzadeh (In the tulip garden).
The ten-episode series is executive produced by Crystal, Eric Rothand creator Sarah Thorp and will debut globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 25 with the first two episodes, followed by new episodes every Friday through December 20.
