We’ve been playing this for about two decades. We’ve always liked each other, actually.”
Snipes said Reynolds told him he had an idea for him to reprise the role of Blade, but Snipes was initially hesitant, wondering how he would actually pull it off.
Snipes said, “It’s very unlikely. And I said, ‘Well, if you can make it happen. Sure. I’ll come and do it.'”
He continued, “I didn’t think it was possible. I didn’t think he was going to be able to pull it off. I didn’t think Marvel was interested in it. Disney was interested in it. And also because they had Mahershala, you know, cast for the next version that’s coming. So, it didn’t make sense to me.”
Well, if you’ve seen the movie, you’ve seen that Reynolds really nailed it and it helped take the movie to another level of spectacularity.
