Republic Pictures has released the trailer for a new crime thriller film titled The Silent Hourwhich comes from the director Italian:I’m a fan of Anderson and he directed films like Session 9, The engineer, Trans-SiberianAND Disappearance on 7th Street.
The movie stars Joel Kinnaman like Boston detective Frank Shaw, “who returns to duty after a career-altering injury leaves him with permanent hearing loss.
“Assigned to act as interpreters for Ava (Sandra Mae Frank), a deaf witness to a brutal gangland murder, they find themselves cornered in a pre-condemned apartment building when the killers return to get rid of her.
“Now cut off from the outside world, these two strangers must rely on each other to outwit the assassins they can’t hear coming, their only hope for survival.”
The film also stars Sandra Mae Frank, Mechi Phifer, Michael EklundAND Mark strong. This looks like it could be a great movie! As a fan of Anderson’s work, I will definitely check it out.
The Silent Hour will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD on October 11, 2024.
