Prime Video has released the trailer for its upcoming motorcycle racing drama A quick movieThe film tells the story of a young man who searches for his father in hopes of becoming a professional pilot.
The synopsis reads: “Wes Neal (KJ Apa), a young man with a passion for speed, is kicked out of the army for racing motorcycles. With nowhere left to go and a desire to become a professional, he tracks down his estranged father, Dean Miller (Eric Dane), former motorcycle champion, as his coach.
“Wes gets a job at the motorcycle shop owned by Dean’s old mentor, Abel (Edward James Olmos), and meets a local waitress (Mayia Reficco) with whom he falls in love.
“When he begins training with his father, his old scars are filled with new wounds as Dean puts intense pressure on his son to be the best, straining every other relationship in Wes’ life.
“Wes has to decide for himself now what he wants for his future and, ultimately, what is worth losing in order to win big on the track.”
It’s like the Karate Kid of motorcycle movies. It looks like it could be fun! The film is by the director Kelly Blatz and is scheduled for release on August 8, 2024.
