Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, Doctor Sleep, Mission: Impossible) has joined Cillian Murphy in the next future Peaky Blinders film currently in development at Netflix.
Ferguson is the first major casting announcement, and while it hasn’t been revealed who she’ll be playing, we know she’ll be amazing in the film! She’s such a talented actress.
Tom Harper is directing the film from a script written by the series creator Knight StevenPlot details have not yet been released, but Knight has said that the film’s story will be set during World War II.
Knight has spoken about the film in the past, saying, “The movie, I know exactly what it’s about. And I know what two stories it’s going to tell. What happens next, I want it to be up to the movie. As far as we know, someone’s going to show up, I think I know who it’s going to be.”
Ferguson was also recently chosen for by Kathryn Bigelow’s next untitled feature film for Netflix. Ferguson currently stars in and executive produces the Apple TV+ drama Silo.
