You can blame the MATRIX for the black leather suits in the X-MEN movies

We finally have an answer as to why the The X-Men in Bryan Singer’s 2000 film he wore those ridiculous black leather suits. The head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige shared this insight, and the blame lies with the Matrix and the unsuspecting Hollywood executives.

During a recent press conference for Deadpool and WolverineKevin Feige revealed: “There were studio executives in charge, who knew that The Matrix was a huge success and that The Matrix was in black leather, so let’s put them in black leather.”

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Hollywood and it hasn’t changed! You can’t make this shit up. It’s hilarious to see how these people in power think. They think they’re so smart, but in reality, many of them are idiots.

God forbid they do something that matches the source material. When previously talked about Hugh Jackman finally donning the yellow and blue suit, Feige said:

“The fact that Hugh Jackman never appeared in his character’s most iconic costume is like being Superman in 10 movies and never putting on the Superman costume. It’s a demonstration of Wolverine not necessarily mattering; the character is more than the costume.”

She added: “When I realised Hugh was there, I went from study mode to, ‘You know you have to wear the yellow suit, right?'”

Marvel Studios is about to make a major X-Men reboot in the MCU, and when that happens, you can rest assured that we won’t be seeing the characters in black leather suits.
