The boys star Jack Quaid recently revealed that she auditioned for James Gunn’S SupermanHe admitted that he didn’t get very far in the process, but that’s okay because he ended up playing Superman in the animated series. My Adventures with Superman.
While guesting on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Quaid said, “I didn’t get very far. I signed up and it didn’t go anywhere, and that’s okay. I’m totally cool with that.”
Quaid also says he knows the Superman star David Corenswet and suggests he wasn’t surprised when he found out he got the role.
The actor added: “I know David Corenswet. He’s one of those people you meet and you say ‘Oh yeah… whenever they need another [Superman]It’ll probably be you.”
While Jack Quaid is a solid actor, he’s not exactly the Superman type. He’s more of a Jimmy Olsen type. However, he’ll continue to get good roles as his career progresses.
Superman will tell the story of “Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way of life, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as antiquated.”

The DC Studios Superman will be released in theaters on July 11, 2025.
