ALIEN: ROMULUS has scenes that “will leave an indelible mark on the lives of some kids who sneak into the film”

It seems that many viewers are enthusiastic about the director Faith Alvarez’S Alien: RomulusIt looks like he has made a fantastic sci-fi horror film that will contain some truly terrifying scenes.

One of the stars of the film, Isabella Mercedwho plays one of the film’s young space scavengers, shared his thoughts on the film’s horror and believes it will leave a lasting mark on some kids’ lives.

Merced said, “I really think there are specific sequences in this movie that will leave a lasting impression for the rest of their lives on kids who sneak into the movie.”

His co-star David Jonsson he added laughing: “You can definitely say goodbye to a 12A. The nursing home with Fede [Alvarez, director] It’s not really his style. If you’re trying to scare people, then you scare them.”

The protagonist of the film Cailee Spaeny He goes on to say, “She doesn’t know how not to give it that twist. It’s just her instinct. She’s waiting to do something weird and twisted.

“And you know he’s done it when you’re on the edge of saying, ‘Should we do this?’ That’s when you realize, ‘OK, Fede’s in his sweet spot.'”

The film is set between 1979’s Alien and 1986’s Aliens and the story sees Spaeny, Jonsson and Merced’s characters on a mission to escape their mining colony when a salvage ship arrives offering them a way out.

Alien: Romulus follows a “group of young people on a distant world who find themselves confronted by the most terrifying life form in the universe.”

Alvarez directs the film from a script he wrote himself. Rodo Sayagues. Ridley Scott he is also a producer of the film together with Michael Pruss (Boston Strangler) for Scott Free, with Brent O’Connor (High speed train), Elizabeth Cantillon (Persuasion) AND Tom Moran (The King of Donuts) as executive producers.

Alien: Romulus will be released in theaters on August 16th.
