Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming series The perfect couplea mystery that revolves around one of the richest and most perfect families in Nantucket.
Nicole Kidman AND Liev Schrieber protagonist of the film, which is an adaptation of by Elin Hilderbrand novel. The story centers on writer Greer Garrison Winbury (Kidman) and her husband Tag Winbury (Schrieber) and Amelia Sacks (Eva Hewson) is destined to marry a member of their wealthy clan.
The synopsis reads: “Amelia Sacks is about to marry a man from one of Nantucket’s wealthiest families. Her future mother-in-law, famed novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, who doesn’t approve, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the biggest wedding of the season—until a body washes up on the beach.
“As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation straight out of the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.”
The six-part series comes from Birdhouse director Susanna Beer and the cast also includes Meghan Fahy, Ishaan Khattar, Jack Reynor, Sam Nivola, My Isaac, Donna Lynne Champlin AND Isabelle Adjani.
Greer (Kidman) is the mother of Amelia’s boyfriend, Benji Winbury (Billy Scream) and paid for their wedding, which was destined to be the toast of the season. But it seems the family has some buried secrets.
The show is coming to Netflix on September 5th. It looks like a beautiful and engaging series!
