Adult Swim has released a fantastic trailer for its upcoming Rick and Morty animated spin-off series Rick and Morty: The Animeand, as you will see, it releases wild energy of all kinds! Rick and Morty Fans will have a blast watching this show!
Rick and Morty: The Anime will show “Rick relaxing in a pseudo-world between the multiverses, Summer helping Space Beth fight the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falling for a mysterious girl who appears to be a timeless being.
“So… pretty much the same for the Sanchez family. However, mysteriously absent from this recap is the status of Jerry Smith.” It is explained that the Smith family members will be “exploring new depths in this new world, and that includes Jerry.”
The series was directed by Takashi Sanoand speaking about it, he said: “What I’ve tried to do with these 10 episodes is take all my favorite parts of Rick and Morty, compress them to their essence, and then add a unique Japanese twist. I want you to enjoy Rick and Morty’s adventures as they’re dragged through time and space, tangled up in all sorts of chaos.”
He added: “Rick and the gang’s multiverse-strategic exploits pose challenges to the family bond, but they always rise to the occasion. It’s a life-affirming show, and Jerry is no exception. I’m honored to have had the opportunity to tell a new story about this incredible family. I hope you enjoy their adventures!”
Rick and Morty: The Anime will arrive on August 15th at midnight on Adult Swim and Max.
